From shooting a new music video with a live audience, playing their brand-new song, and crowd surfing on a giant inflatable unicorn, Sleeping with Sirens put on quite the show at the DISRUPT Festival at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center. Although the sun was beating down on the crowd, they still were jumping to every song. Their set had a great mix of old and new music ranging from “If You Can’t Hang” off their second album to their newest release, “Leave It All Behind.” The upcoming album, “How It Feels To Be Lost,” is set to release September 6th and from the crowd’s reaction to the new music, fans are excited for this upcoming era.
Not only did Sleeping with Sirens put on a fantastic show, they also treated fans by doing a free signing presented by Rock Star Energy. Before their set, fans were able to meet them and get a DISRUPT poster signed. Although it was just a signing, the whole band was willing to take selfies with everyone as the line moved along. Kellin Quinn, the lead singer, always gives his all on stage and it’s clear to see the passion he has for music. Towards the end of the set, security brought out an inflatable unicorn tube and Kellin jumped from the stage into the crowd to set sail over a sea of sweaty people. The smile on his face as he made his way back to barricade said it all. As the sun faded behind the Festival Stage, the crowd enjoyed the final song before heading to the pavilion for the final acts of the night.
