I was honored to have the opportunity to photograph indie-band Flipturn at the Hi-Fi in Indianapolis Thursday night. Having never heard their music, this Florida group exceeded my expectations as the opening act for Wilderado.

The five-piece band, consisting of Dillon Basse (lead vocals/rhythm guitar), Tristan Duncan (lead guitar), Madeline Jarman (bass), Mitch Fountain (synth) and Devon VonBalson on drums was well received as a favorite by the crowd, who treated them as well as they would have a headliner. It was impressive. Amongst many others, their songs "August" and "Vanilla" were both cheered and echoed by the sold-out audience.
My take: easy to listen to, incredibly talented, and absolutely worth a go. ENJOY! Their tour will soon be coming to a venue near you.
