INDIANAPOLIS

Having spent a lot of time listening to Bob and Tom in the morning, I was very familiar with the Mummy’s tunes. Most are very “Bob and Tom” - like, with lots of naughty innuendo. All good, in my opinion.
This being the first time seeing them live, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I knew it would be fun. I was correct. TRICKY lyrics, wrapped in a musical TREAT. See what I did there?
Although they never revealed themselves to us, all the while bathed in spooky bandages, they exuded terrific showmanship and a captivating stage presence.
With fun “wink and a nudge” lyrics, backed by a jazzy, horn-heavy music base, the band kept their fans energized. From the drum processional entrance to the conclusion, the tones were spectacular, the environment lively and the message racy and fun. The sold out crowd loved every minute, especially those fortunate enough to have been up front.
Don’t miss their show, don’t bring the kids.
