Metric, the Canadian indie rock band, delivered a captivating performance as the opening act for Garbage at the Ruoff Music Center. Taking the stage with confidence and energy, Metric immediately grabbed the attention of the audience with their infectious blend of rock, pop, and electronic elements. Lead vocalist Emily Haines commanded the stage with her charismatic presence, captivating the crowd with her powerful and ethereal vocals. Their setlist was a well-curated mix of their hits, including "Help I'm Alive" and "Breathing Underwater," as well as newer tracks that showcased their evolving sound. Metric's performance set the perfect tone for the evening, leaving the audience eagerly anticipating Garbage's act while appreciating the unique artistry of Metric.
