The crowd at Ruoff Music Center were treated to an energetic and nostalgic performance by the legendary Too $hort. As a pioneer of West Coast hip-hop, Too $hort's presence electrified the crowd, and fans were thrilled to witness his iconic style and lyrical prowess in person.




He opened his set by playing the iconic lyric “What’s my favorite word?” (from his hit song “Blow The Whistle”). As everyone in attendance replied “B*tch” it was apparent there were many Too $hort fans in the building. With a career spanning several decades, Too $hort delivered a set filled with classic hits that had the entire audience rapping along. His smooth flow and charismatic stage presence captivated everyone, transporting them back to the golden era of hip-hop. Too $hort's performance served as a reminder of his enduring influence on the genre and left the audience eager for what was to come with Wiz Khalifa's and Snoop Dogg's highly anticipated performances.
